That is why protecting any business information that you provide is of the utmost importance to First Source Electrical and its subsidiaries. Procuring Products or Services online from First Source Electrical and its Affiliates: When you purchase products or services from us, you may do so anonymously by paying with cash. If you use a First Source Electrical account or company credit card for any business purchase, we will collect your company's payment information and keep a history of the purchases. We use this information to process your company's orders, to ensure proper delivery, as well as to improve our customer service and product and service offerings. When you return previously purchased merchandise or request a refund or exchange, you may be asked to give your company name, address, phone number and show information that identifies you, such as your driver's license and/or company identification card. We collect this information to help prevent fraud.

Online Registration: Registration is an optional service provided by our Sites. You do not have to register your business to browse online. When you register, you may be asked for business information such as your contact name, business name, address, phone number, e-mail address, a password, and business interests. This registration information may be used to help make your online shopping quicker and easier, by pre-populating certain parts of your shopping information.

Other Uses of business information: First Source Electrical uses business information, to continually assess and improve the products and services we offer. We may also inform your company about products and services, sales and special offers that might benefit your business. When you register online or participate in a survey, you will have the opportunity to sign up for e-mails about our products, services, sales and special offers. We may also send you email, faxes, mail or call your business with information about our product and service offerings if you have provided us with your business' name and address, email address, fax or phone numbers.

Your Suggestions: We use your company's feedback, suggestions, survey information and comments solely to monitor and/or improve the ways we serve you. This information is not shared with any outside party.

Disclosure of Business Information

Business Information Disclosure: First Source Electrical maintains strict confidentiality of the business information in its possession. Accordingly, we will not trade, rent or sell your business information.

Companies that work with or on behalf of First Source Electrical: If your purchases are being shipped to your business our delivery service providers are prohibited from using your business information for any purpose other than making the delivery.

Sale of Business: First Source Electrical reserves the right to transfer any information we have about your business in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets to a third party.

Legal: Please note that First Source Electrical must provide your business information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry or order, or to an investigative body in the case of a breach of an agreement or contravention of law, or as otherwise required by law. We may also disclose business information to assist us in collecting a debt owed by your company.

Additional Information About Our Sites

Visiting our Sites: You can visit our Sites without telling us who you are or providing us with any information. However, we collect the IP (Internet protocol) addresses of all visitors to our Sites and other related information such as page requests, browser type, operating system and average time spent on our Sites. We use this information to monitor and improve our Sites.

Cookies: Our Sites use a technology called "cookies". A cookie is a tiny element of data that our Sites can send to your browser, which may then be stored on your hard drive so we can recognize you when you return. We will maintain the confidentiality of all business information collected in our Branches, our E-Commerce Sites and from any other source and will only disclose such information to employees and Service Providers who require such information for the purposes described in this Confidentiality and Security Statement. Security Measures on our Sites
Secure Shopping: When you place orders on our Sites, all of your order information, including your credit or debit card number and delivery address, is transmitted through the Internet using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL technology causes your browser to encrypt your order information before transmitting it to our secure server. SSL technology, an industry standard, is designed to prevent someone other than operators of our Sites from capturing and viewing your business information.
